Board Meeting Rescheduled
The monthly board meeting scheduled for tomorrow, 10/15/16 has been cancelled due to impending bad weather. A mini-meeting has been scheduled for Saturday, 10/29/2016 at 9:30 AM so that the board can discuss and approve the proposed budget for 2017, but all other business will be held for the next regular meeting on 11/19/2016.
Lions and Tigers and….Tornadoes!! Oh my!
As you can see from the video above (shot around 9 AM), The Capes had a near miss this morning as a tornado came ashore just north of Maxwell Mountain in Oceanside. If you come out to The Capes this weekend to storm watch, be safe and bring a flashlight, just in case! The latest alerts predict strong south winds 25 – 45 mph with occasional gusts from 60 – 75 mph, which could mean downed trees and power outages.
