NEW DUES FOR 2017
Just in case you missed this in November’s update…and December’s update…HOA dues are increasing slightly for 2017. The new rates go into effect today, 1/1/2017. If you utilize your bank’s autopay program, please make sure to adjust your payment amount accordingly. For those who prefer to make quarterly, biannual or full year payments, we have included those amounts as well.
- Unimproved lots: $122 per month [Quarterly: $366; 6 Months: $732; Full Year: $1,464]
- Single Family Homes: $129 per month [Quarterly: $387; 6 Months: $774; Full Year: $1,548]
- Cottages: $129 per month [Quarterly: $387; 6 Months: $774; Full Year: $1,548]
- Townhomes: $248 per month [Quarterly: $744; 6 Months: $1,488; Full Year: $2,976]
THE TRAIN HAS LEFT THE STATION – DID YOU MISS IT?
I’m sorry to report that payment books for 2017 HOA dues payments have already been ordered and mailed out…so if you did not complete the form that was sent out in November (and again as a ‘last call’ in December) a book was not ordered for you. But fear not – our email reminder list is open year-round and we’d be happy to add anyone who’d like to receive a monthly, quarterly or annual email reminder to pay dues. Just send an email to manager@thecapesHOA.org, and let us know how often you’d like your reminder!
TREE UPDATE!
For those of you with tree removals scheduled as part of the helicopter removal project, there is a little bit of light at the end of this weather-related tunnel. Walker Contract Cutting will be here starting on Wednesday, 1/4/2017 to (finally) begin cutting the trees! This portion of the project will take at least 2 days, and possibly 3. There’s still no word on when the helicopter removal will take place, but at least we’ve got a little forward movement!
LOST and FOUND
A couple of lost items have turned up at the office this week, and we’d love to help them find their owners. Item #1 is a pair of tortoiseshell sunglasses, vendor name unknown. Item #2 is a child’s zip-up hoodie that says TEAM across the front, size 3-6 months. Photos are below. If either (or both) of these items belong to you, please contact the office!
