2020 Dues, One More Time…
Just in case you missed the December newsletter and the November email about the 2020 budget, here are the 2020 dues amounts one more time. Starting with your January 2020 payment, the dues are as follows:
- Undeveloped lots – $128 per month
- Cottages – $137 per month
- Single Family Homes – $137 per month
- Town Homes – $270 per month
If you requested a tear-out payment book for 2020, they shipped on December 20th, so you should have received it by now. If you have not, please let the office know!
Did you know, it’s easier to break down your cardboard box than it is to remove the shipping label? Why bring this up, you ask? Well, see, we’ve asked and asked and asked that you please break down your cardboard boxes before throwing them in the dumpster, but some owners still don’t find it necessary. So…if there’s an intact box in the trash, we will be checking the shipping label to see whose name is on it, and will be sending that person a little “thank you” note. If you’d prefer not to receive said note, you will need to start removing all traces of your identity from the box – and, honestly, it’s probably easier just to flatten the box than to scour it from all sides to make sure you didn’t miss a label with your name or address on it, right? [Not to mention the fact that there’s a camera right there, too!]
Looking For A Few Good Recruits
The 2020 Annual Homeowners Meeting will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2020 in the meeting room at the Netarts Fire Hall (1235 5th St. Loop in Netarts) starting at 10:00 am. One of the important items on the meeting agenda will be the election of Directors.
Terms are ending for two of our current board members, which means there will be two empty seats to fill. All seats are for 3-year terms. Could one of those seats have your name on it?
If you are a go-getter who is interested in helping to effect positive change within the community by serving on the board, the first thing you’ll need to do is declare your intent to run. You can do this by mail, email or in person. Your intention to run must be received by 5:00 pm on Friday, February 14, 2020. All homeowners who will be running will be announced at the board meeting on February 15, 2020. Here is the contact information for declaring your intent to run:

If you’ve got questions about board member responsibilities and/or obligations, feel free to ask. You do NOT need to be present at the Annual Meeting to run for the board. If you’d like to see the board in action, come by the Bridge House for the next meeting on Saturday, January 18, 2020 to see what it’s all about.
